It’s really amazing what you learn by defining and then accomplishing goals.  For instance, I recently heard from an old client.  I remember when I helped him craft his original relationship goal/ideal mate profile.  When I saw his choices, I believed he was marking down what he most thought people should be like or wanted to see.

He wanted an innocent, school teacher/nurse type who made a certain amount of money, lived in a certain area, had very little history of relationships, etc.  So you can imagine the smile on my face when he told me he was dating a woman much younger than him, who currently had a boyfriend, and liked to talk dirty.  Not because this is my profile, but simply because this was so different from what he originally “marked” down.  This type of woman was probably a far better match than the original.  He was closer to being fulfilled.  (I’m not advocating cheating!)

Anyway, my point is that the relationship goal/ideal mate profile is for you and no one else.  If you are doing it for someone else, you’re not being genuine.  If you accomplish that particular desire you won’t feel satisfied.  My client became satisfied only after he accomplished what he originally thought he wanted but then realized he needed to reassess…and now he’s moved in a different direction…of course he needed the skill set and know now to do so…The Dating Matrix 28 day online program coming soon…you can buy the book now…
