Crossing The Bridge

Have you guys seen this new show called “Millionaire Matchmaker” on Bravo?  The concept is simple enough: a woman matches millionaire men with girls who want to date them.  We can thank the TV gods for this highly intellectual programming.  But what I found most interesting-and not so surprising-was the fact that these guys are absolutely clueless about interacting with women.

At one point in the show, both millionaires meet the money junkies err girls and get to choose which one they like.  One guy is a nerdy, needy, geeky type who actually is somewhat sweet and has a sense of humor.  The other guy is uptight, rigid, and doesn’t seem comfortable around people.  Anyway, when they first interact with the girls, its like pulling teeth.  Both appear shy, looking down, not smiling, and verbally interacting as if they were conducting a job interview.

I could go on with the incredible amount of mistakes I saw, but the real point is that these guys don’t need a matchmaker, they need The Dating Matrix!  They have no clue what to do with women once they have them.  Non verbals, verbals, creating rapport after attraction, nothing.  Even in a situation where women have a clear interest, they can’t manage the interaction.  It’s always easy to pick out guys who have no knowledge or very little experience with women who use money to attract and obtain them.  This show is a great example of that.

Most guys think they need cash in order to be successful with women.  And for a certain type of woman that may be true.  But wouldn’t it be better if you actually believed that interacting with women is a skill that you could learn…and regardless of your financial situation…began living the life you wanted with women now?
