Cognitive Dissonance
Do you know when you are doing something that is not beneficial but you continue to do so anyway? For instance, if you’re aware that smoking is bad for you, but you still light up, that is an example of cognitive dissonance.
Another is attempting to approach, open, and initiate with women in the same unsuccessful manner as you always have knowing full well the same predictable result. If you want to improve your “game”, or the skills you have to interact with women to achieve whatever relationship goal, one must acquire knowledge. You can’t will yourself to be better with women just as you can’t will yourself to be stronger in the gym. You first must access your abilities, determine your needs, create a goal, then craft a plan to achieve it. This requires action.
